Jeff Martz, of Palm Beach, to serve as Judge on the Circuit Court Bench

Congratulations to Jeff Martz, who was appointed to the Circuit Court Bench by Governor Ron DeSantis. Mr. Martz has worked as a trial attorney for Smith Ball Baez & Prather since 2021. Previously, he served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fifteenth Circuit. Mr. Martz earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his juris doctor from the University of Florida. He fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James Martz. Martz will receive his commission on August 7 and will take the bench presiding over Division S in late August.

Autumn Gurrola, of Palm Beach, to serve as Judge on the Circuit Court Bench 

Congratulations to Autumn Gurrola, who was appointed to the Circuit Court Bench by Governor Ron DeSantis. Ms. Gurrola has served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fifteenth Circuit since 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Gurrola fills the judicial vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Caroline Shepherd. Gurrola will receive her commission on August 5 and will take the bench presiding over Division JK in late August.
