The above interviews will be conducted in person at the Library Conference Room, Judge Daniel T.K. Hurley Courthouse, 205 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401.

Each applicant will be allowed a two-minute opening statement. The interviews will be transcribed by Phipps Reporting pro bono.

FIFTEENTH CIRCUIT SEEKING VOLUNTEER GUARDIAN ADVOCATES FOR BAKER ACT CASES

The Fifteenth Circuit needs volunteer Guardian Advocates for Baker Act cases. If you are interested in volunteering as a Guardian Advocate you will need to complete a volunteer application, 4-hour free training, and a criminal background check.

Pro bono credit hours for lawyers with the Florida Bar and Legal Aid. You can access the training on the Florida Certification Board website at: https://fcbonline.remotelearner.net/

IN MEMORIAM – CARI A. PODESTA

In Memoriam – Cari Podesta (1959 – 2021)  

Cari was dedicated to the legal profession and spent the entirety of her 35-year career practicing community association and real estate law in Palm Beach County.  She was a well-respected attorney and pragmatic problem solver.  She had a brilliant legal mind and practiced law with incredible knowledge and compassion.  Cari advocated for her clients with the utmost dedication and professionalism.  Her enthusiastic spirit was contagious and she operated with incredible kindness in all aspects of her life.  Cari will be very missed. The services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.  The visitation is at 1:00 pm, with the memorial service at 2:00 pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL.
