Bench Bar Conference Registration Now Open for Attorneys and Staff

The 2015 Palm Beach County Bench Bar Conference aims to appeal to both new and veteran attendees.  Among the highlights of the March 27th event will be an entertaining luncheon keynote by legal humorist Sean Carter, whose topic will be “Nice Lawyers Finish First.”  Mr. Carter has crisscrossed the country delivering comedic professional educational seminars for more than 300 organizations, including over 150 to Bar Associations or their Sections, in three dozen states.  His presentations run the gamut from legal ethics to diversity to stress management, but they all have one thing in common — humor; and plenty of it.  Sean Carter graduated from Harvard Law School in 1992. His ten years of legal practice focused on corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions.  In 2002, Mr. Carter left the practice of law to pursue a career as the country’s foremost Humorist at Law. Since then, Sean lives in Mesa, Arizona with his wife and four sons. Sessions for attorneys this year will again include Transaction Law, Probate, Federal, ADR, Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, Appellate, Family, Criminal, County Civil and Juvenile.  This year, there will also be sessions for paralegals, legal assistants and secretaries including topics on Discovery and Ethics as well as practical information from Court Administration and Judicial Assistants. Be sure to sign you staff up for these sessions!

The 2015 Bench Bar Conference, an all day event, will be held on March 27 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.  You can register online here.  Deadline to register is March 20 and as space is limited, registrations are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
