What is the Informed Voter’s Project?
Americans depend on strong courts to uphold the Constitution and to rule on every case fairly and impartially. Our system is designed to ensure that politics and special interests have no sway over a judge’s decision. The founders believed – and we still believe – that judges who base decisions on the law should not have to fear retribution.
The Informed Voters Project (IVP) is a nonpartisan voter education project designed to increase knowledge about the judicial branch, to inform citizens that politics and special interest attacks have no place in the courts, and to provide tools to exercise an informed vote. IVP has an overarching, simple message: Voters can ensure that they have fair judges and equal justice in their state courts through their exercise of an informed vote.
